Civil Defense / Severe Weather Siren

      Severe Weather Alert: Long Steady Tone

The siren is designed to warn those outside to take cover, not necessarily people who are already indoors.  People who are outside and hear the siren should take cover and turn on a radio, TV, or other device to get more detailed information. 

Any activation of the siren will be a warning of severe weather or a test of that system. A scheduled monthly test occurs the first Wednesday of every monthy at 1pm.
